dbt at the enterprise
A Senior Business Analyst, an Analytics Engineer, and a Data Quality Engineer walk into the office. All three of them ask for dbt. Why?
I led this talk at Coalesce 2022 exploring dbt's universal appeal to folks outside traditional data engineer and analyst roles, and how it helped WEX modernize our entire enterprise data platform.

Project scope: Talk conception and pitch, presentation creation, public speaking coaching, talk delivery.
Role: I conceived the talk, pitched it internally, assembled the team, created the presentation, coached both colleagues through their first public speaking experience, and led the delivery at Coalesce 2022.

TinyMCE 7.3 Release Video

Project scope: Scriptwriting, voiceover recording and delivery.
Role: Collaborated with the Product team and animation contractor to script and record voiceover for this animated release video.
Introducing Image Optimizer by TinyMCE
Product launch video for Image Optimizer, a media optimization feature powered by Uploadcare that lets developers skip building their own image management system.

Project scope: Scriptwriting, voiceover recording and delivery.
Role: Worked with Product and animation teams to script and record voiceover for this product marketing video.
DEI Webinars and Events
WEX Pride Leadership (2020-2022)
As a board member and later Board Chair of WEX Pride, I led our Employee Resource Group supporting LGBTQIA+ employees through events, webinars, and company-wide advocacy.
Content type: Internal webinars and ERG leadership.
Project scope: Event conception and delivery, presentation creation, board leadership, executive collaboration, website and newsletter management, advocacy work.
What I Led:
- Allyship webinar – Teaching colleagues how to be better allies for LGBTQIA+ coworkers and family members.
- Pronouns webinar – Expanding workplace conversations around pronouns and identity.
- Mental health webinar – Mental health practices for LGBTQIA+ professionals.
- Pride Newsletter – Monthly newsletter for two years covering events, resources, and community news.
- Company-wide advocacy – Successfully advocated for adding pronouns to company email signatures as standard practice.
Role: I conceived and delivered presentations, led the Pride Board, collaborated with Design and Executive teams, created the ERG website, managed print materials and swag, and advocated for systemic inclusion changes at WEX.
