About Coco

Writer. Engineer. Bridge Builder.

I'm a technical writer and former QA automation engineer who builds bridges between humans and systems. After a decade in software testing and documentation, I specialize in turning engineering precision into human-centered communication.

My background

I spent the first part of my career as a QA automation engineer, where I developed a deep understanding of software systems, testing frameworks, and developer workflows. I have over 10 years of experience in software testing, data engineering, and technical writing. This technical foundation gives me a unique advantage: I don't just write about technology—I understand how it works under the hood.

Today, I combine that engineering mindset with clear, empathetic writing to create documentation and content that actually helps people. Whether it's API documentation, developer guides, or technical blog posts, my work makes complex systems accessible while maintaining technical accuracy.

Published Work

My writing has appeared in Stack Overflow Blog, TinyMCE Blog, and How-To Geek. I've created documentation and content for Fortune 500 companies including Apple, WEX, and Lumen Technologies, as well as developer tool platforms serving millions of users.

Beyond work

When I'm not writing about technology, you'll find me:

Spending time with my two wonderful dogs
They think they're people, and honestly, they might be right.

Reading fiction
Currently exploring LGBTQIA+ fantasy and sci-fi.

Advocating for inclusion
I served as Board Chair of WEX's Pride Employee Resource Group for three years and mentored students through Built by Girls' STEM program. I believe in making tech more accessible and inclusive—a philosophy that shows up in my documentation too.

I currently live in Maine, USA (UTC -4).
